This serum is a topical compounded formulation containing 5% minoxidil and biotin. While minoxidil is FDA-approved in topical form for hair loss treatment, compounded versions and additional ingredients such as biotin are not FDA-approved in combination and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or quality.

Intended Use:
This product is used to promote hair growth in individuals with androgenetic alopecia (male or female pattern baldness), postpartum hair thinning, or stress-related hair loss. It may improve follicle activity, reduce shedding, and enhance scalp health over time.

Contraindications:
Do not use if you:

• Are allergic to minoxidil, biotin, or any other ingredient in the formulation
• Have a scalp condition involving open sores, infections, or eczema
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Warnings & Serious Risks:

• Systemic absorption: Though rare, excessive use or use on broken skin can lead to low blood pressure, dizziness, or chest pain
• Cardiovascular risk: May cause or worsen palpitations, fluid retention, or dizziness in some individuals
• Hormonal effects: Should not be used in conjunction with oral minoxidil unless prescribed
• Allergic reaction: Rash, itching, or swelling may occur. Discontinue and seek medical attention if symptoms persist
  
  

Common Side Effects:

• Scalp irritation or itching
• Dryness or flaking
• Temporary increase in hair shedding at the start of treatment
• Mild headache
• Facial hair growth (if serum spreads to unintended areas)

These effects often lessen with continued use and improved application technique.

Drug Interactions:

• Avoid combining with other topical medications unless prescribed
• Inform your provider if using oral finasteride, spironolactone, or hormone therapies

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Not recommended. Minoxidil is a category C drug and may be harmful to fetal development. Biotin is considered safe in low doses, but the combined formula should be avoided without provider guidance.

Administration:
Apply directly to the scalp once or twice daily as directed. Massage gently and do not rinse. Avoid getting the product on the forehead, face, or other non-scalp areas.

Storage:
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Keep bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.

Emergency Situations:
Call 911 or seek emergency care if you experience chest pain, fainting, dizziness, or facial swelling.
