Elara prices compounded semaglutide from $197 per month and compounded tirzepatide, a GLP-1 and GIP medication, from $297 per month on longer plans, or $247 and $355 a month billed monthly. Each plan is billed once for its full duration and includes care from licensed US providers available in all 50 states, a treatment plan personalized to you, and discreet delivery to your door. No insurance is required, there are no membership or hidden fees, and you are only charged if a licensed provider prescribes your treatment.
Is Elara the same company as Elara Health and Wellness or Elara MD?
No. Elara, women’s wellness (withelara.com) is a separate, unaffiliated company. Elara Health and Wellness (elarahealthandwellness.com) and Elara MD (elaramd.com) are different businesses that share the name. How does GLP-1 and GIP injection care through Elara work?
You complete an online intake and medical questionnaire. A licensed provider reviews your health history and determines whether treatment may be appropriate before anything is prescribed.
Will I be charged before I am prescribed?
If you prequalify, a temporary hold may be placed on your payment method while your provider review is completed. If you are not prescribed, the hold is released and the charge does not complete.
Do I need insurance?
No. Elara is designed with self-pay options, and eligible purchases may support HSA or FSA payment methods.
Are video visits required?
Visit requirements depend on your state. Some states require a live video visit, some require a live initial visit with online follow-ups, and most states allow a fully online process.

Safety information
Who it may not be right for
GLP-1 medications may not be suitable for people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with a history or high risk of pancreatitis, with severe gastrointestinal disorders such as gastroparesis, with a known allergy to the medication or its ingredients, or with uncontrolled diabetes, thyroid disorders, or severe liver or kidney disease without medical clearance. If you are unsure whether any of these apply to you, our providers will review it with you before anything is prescribed.
Common side effects
Most side effects are mild and tend to appear early in treatment. They can include nausea, reduced appetite, constipation or diarrhea, mild injection-site tenderness, headache or fatigue, and dizziness. Your provider will talk you through how to manage these.
When to seek care
Some symptoms need prompt medical attention. Seek care if you experience severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, swelling in the neck or trouble swallowing, or signs of an allergic reaction.
