A temporary hold is placed on your payment method while you finish the full medical questionnaire.

A licensed provider reviews
A licensed provider from our partner physician group, Wasef Health, reviews your answers.

Get prescribed
If you are a fit, they prescribe your treatment and your payment is then processed.
- 05.
Only pay if prescribed
If you are not a fit at any point, the hold is released, the charge never completes, and the funds return to you on your bank’s timeline. Elara only receives payment if you are prescribed.

Medical care is delivered through Wasef Health, our partner physician group, and medications are prepared by licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies that meet rigorous quality standards. Together, they allow us to provide personalized care to women across all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

Do I need insurance?
No. Elara offers self-pay weight care options, and eligible purchases may support HSA or FSA payment methods.
Will I be charged before I am approved?
If you prequalify, a temporary hold may be placed while your provider review is completed. If you are not prescribed, the hold is released and the charge does not complete.
Which states does Elara serve?
Elara serves women in all 50 US states. Visit requirements may vary by state.
Are video visits required?
Some states require a live video visit, some require a live initial visit with online follow-ups, and most states allow a fully online process.
